Training and workshops

 

PASCAL Training Ltd works and supports both agencies and schools by supplying relevant and current short courses, day sessions and 2-hour workshops for all staff, volunteers and parents.

 

The training and workshops we provide are designed to enhance any online training that may have been undertaken previously as we find it is more effective. Through surveys conducted it is a fact that a higher level of skills can be obtained if the training received is interactive and collaborative. 

 

To increase understanding of current issues and up to date information, our sessions include discussion, scenarios, and an open forum for questions. 

 

The details below give guidance to previous sessions we have successfully delivered however we are renowned for developing them to meet individual agencies/schools needs.  

 

  • Specialists in safeguarding to include update and refresher training and online safety 

 

  • Supporting, consultancy and mentoring EYFS provisions. Will develop awareness about Ofsted expectations and the inspection process for Ofsted and Accreditation schemes.

 

  • Working directly with parents, children and families, managing and providing safe/secure environments, care, learning and development.

 

  • Teaching, assessing and verifying in partnership with other training companies following courses with awarding bodies such as City and Guilds, Cache and NCFE. Consultants are familiar with, and support Apprenticeship programmes and accredited courses at levels 1,2,3,4.

 

  • Providing practical workshops for parents and families, practitioners and carers, which support children’s development and learning with the emphasis on ‘play’ in line with the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stage.

 

  • Designing and delivering small support programmes for agency staff, support workers, childminders, parent/carers on subjects which have included; parent workshops, supporting inclusion, special educational needs, behaviour, literacy and numeracy.

 

  • Delivering specialised talks for conferences, Annual General Meetings, and Early Years Forums.

 

  • Providing up to date framework/guidelines, information and practice, such as EYFS       updates and Healthy Eating initiatives.

 

  • Assistance, support and training in leadership and management, recruitment, staff supervision/appraisals, CPD guidance, and training to support staff development.

        

  • Consultancy in any of the above areas including Quality Assurance for further or adult education settings and training for teaching staff and assessors.

 

 

1st Aid training and supporting sessions

We offer affordable 1st Aid training and support sessions. Please see below the details of the 'accredited' course which we offer and is delivered by a fully qualified 1st Aid trainer.

 

We offer support awareness 1st Aid sessions for parents to obtain knowledge and skills to deal with everyday accidents/emergencies and are currently looking at delivering 1st Aid workshops for children in line with future curriculum guidance. 

 

12hr Paediatric 1st Aid

This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, childminders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care.

It is ideal for individuals who are responsible for children and infants, who wish to gain a nationally regulated Level 3 Award.

This two-day course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted. In order to obtain this qualification, you must attend both days and complete the two units of accreditation".
